The Our World Awards are making headlines once again!

Eleanor McGill, teacher at last year’s winning school, Scoil Mhuire N.S., in Glenties, Co Donegal recently spoke with Highlands Radio about the value and impact of the Our World Awards programme following their 2025 win.

In the interview, Eleanor highlights how the programme supports global citizenship, student voice, and meaningful learning in the primary classroom.

Eleanor was also featured in Donegal Daily, where she encourages primary school teachers across the country to get involved in the 2026 Our World Awards programme, sharing the positive impact it has had on both pupils and staff.
