The Overall School of the Year 2025 will win an exciting trip for their winning class to a fun-filled STEM experience within Ireland, where they’ll explore lots of fun activities up close!   It’s a fantastic way to celebrate their learnings and all their hard work for their entry to the Our World Awards Programme 2025.

We are also happy to share with you the categories for project entries and to highlight that all entries received in January and February 2025 will receive a gift of an SDG poster and Certificate of Project Completion for their classroom.  As a reminder, the closing date for all entries is 28th of March 2025.

Our World Awards Global Goals:  Broad focus on one or more SDGs, clear understanding of the goals.  Creative techniques to showcase their learnings.

Our World Awards School & Community Impact: Made a tangible difference within the school/local community. Celebrates initiatives that address local issues.

Our World Awards Irish Aid Programme: Key insights and understanding of the work of Irish Aid across one or more countries included in the resources.

Our World Awards Outstanding School Engagement: School which has participated in the past and continues to deepen it’s engagement with Global Citizenship Education & submits entries from a number of classes.

Our World Awards Rising Star: First time entry of a school showing considerable thought into Sustainable Development Goals and the work of Irish Aid.

Our World Awards STEM: Creative links to STEM and the wider curriculum.
