- Irish Aid and Real Nation cannot accept responsibility for lost, damaged, or delayed entries. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
- By submitting an entry for the competition, the entrant acknowledges and agrees that the entry and any subsequent images may be featured online and/or reproduced and broadcast (in whole or in part) on media and social channels for promotional and/or educational purposes.
- All entries must be the pupils’ original work and not plagiarised wholly or in part; the work entered must be the pupils' own but may be aided or guided by a teacher.
- By signing this form, the teacher/guardian takes responsibility for ensuring consent for the distribution/use of any entries and/or images submitted as outlined herein.
- All individuals working on a project must be registered pupils in a Primary or Special School, and between the ages of 8 and 13 (7 to 18 in Special Schools). Judges will take into consideration entries from Special Schools.
- Schools may submit multiple entries. Each entry must be accompanied by a completed entry form with a teacher/guardian signature.
- Short-listed entrants may be asked to provide proof of age and confirm the authenticity of their submission.
- Irish Aid and Real Nation reserve the right to alter entries as necessary to ensure accuracy and maintain formatting requirements and/or consistency for print/promotional/broadcast purposes.
- The judges and sponsoring organisations will not enter into correspondence regarding the judges' decision; national awards decisions are final.
- Award winners may be required to participate in publicity.
- No cash or alternative in whole or part of the prize will be offered.
- Irish Aid and Real Nation reserve the right to amend any part of these rules and regulations as required without notice. Copies of this form may be downloaded from the website.
- Submissions cannot be returned under any circumstances.
- Due to the large number of entries received each year, it is not possible to provide feedback on individual submissions.
- Employees, contractors, or persons directly or professionally associated with employees of Real Nation and Irish Aid may not compete in these awards.
- Any information provided by you in this submission form is required for the administration and communications in regards to the Our World Awards. Your data will be retained and used solely for this purpose. We share your information with Real Event Management Ltd T/A Real Nation to manage the Our World Awards. Your information will be stored for a period of two academic years following the programme or until you opt out of communications. For further information on data protection visit our Privacy Policy.
